21 wks....

I am a slacker at doing this every week, but but better to do it sometimes then never I guess.

Due date: August 17th
Total weight gain/loss: 8lbs do I have to tell?
Maternity clothes? I could fit, but don't like the look of them so I just wear my jeans with the elastic trick and then baggy shirts. Haha.
Sleep: It has been ok. Not the greatest, but I'll take what I can.
Best moment this week: Hearing her heartbeat at the Dr. office.
Movement: She loves to move at bedtime and all through out the day. I don't think she likes the seat belt. I always get kicked in the car.
Food cravings: I have been eating alot of strawberries with cool whip.
Symptoms: Belly muscles ache, back aches. Low energy. But doing pretty good.
Gender: GIRL
Labor Signs: No thank goodness
Belly Button in or out? Still in.
Feeling toward Pregnancy: Excited, but feels like time is flying by now.
What I miss: Sharing my pregnancy with my mom. This has been the hardest thing ever! I was with and around my mom the whole time while I was pregnant with Haize and so I'm having a hard time even going shopping for this baby. I hope I can get a grip and get some stuff made for her though.
What I am looking forward to: Getting her room started, but it's far from that yet. We are working on our basement and that has to be done first. I need to get Jared to kick it in gear faster. Haha.
Milestones: My Grandma DeLowa got Baby Haylie's first quilt made. It is from fabric my mom had saved for me for if I ever had a baby girl. It will be a special quilt.


Im sorry I still don't have any pictures to post. Ugh I haven't wanted to take any, but I know if I dont I will be so mad at myself later. That will be my goal this week is to take a picture of this growing belly.

Pregnancy

Wow! It has been way too long since I posted, but I wanted to share that I am pregnant and that I felt right from the moment I found out that this was a baby being sent to me not just from Heavenly Father, but from my Mom. I miss her so much and I have this huge feeling that this is from her to help me get through this hard time in my life. At first I wasn't even excited. I had feelings of how am I going to deal with being pregnant on top of just losing my Mom and still trying to get over it. It took up until I found out what this baby was to make it more "real". Now I feel like I'm finally really pregnant. I know this sounds weird, but now I'm all excited. The whole day I found out, which was yesterday, I just felt so much at peace and so happy inside. I know my mom spend the day with me close by. :)
Anyways so I am now in my 16th week in pregnancy and found out it's a Baby Girl. We are so excited and couldn't be happier. I saw some girls do this little questioinaire each week and though it looked fun. I know I'm a little late starting to do it each week, but I figure better late than never.

Maternity clothes? Yes, I have bought some, but NO they do not fit yet. Thank goodness. I love wearing my sweat pants though instead of Jeans. They are getting a little too tight.
Sleep: It's ok, but not great. I already have to wake up 2 times a night to pee.
Best moment this week: Finding out my baby is going to be a girl.
Movement: Pretty sure I have felt the baby move a few times now. I love it when you can feel them move.
Food cravings: I have craved Mexican food quite a bit.
Symptoms: My back already has issues or my hip, proably both. Tired.

Haize is 2

How did that happen? It seems as though it were yesterday I brought him home from the hospital, and then today I wake up to him running around all over the place. How does that happen?
He is my favorite little guy ever! He is so cute and we love him so much. Our live's have been forever changed and in a wonderful way. He keeps us all going. If im having a bad day his smile and crazy things he does makes it all better. Just knowing that im his mom makes me the happiest person on earth. I love being able to stay home with him everyday and watch him learn new things constantly.
Lets talk about some of the things Haize does.....
He jumps off the ground with both feet in the air... it's so cute!
He loves to dance. Whenever there is bumping music he is dancing even if its in the car. Haha.
He loves farm animals. He calls them by what they say though... i'm working on that.
He loves to be outside and always tells the dogs to SHUT! Its pretty darn funny because he says it in a gruff voice.
He is always wanting a treat. He probably gets that from me. I love sweets.
His favorite movie is Tarzan and he calls it Tarz.
He also likes to watch Ratatoille, Tale of Despero, and a new one Toy Story 3.
He is in a big boy bed now and has been for a month or so. He likes it way more than his crib, but still does not stay in it all night. He ends up with us. Its ok ive decided. One day he won't like us. Haha I hope not though.
He loves playing with plastic animals, trucks, his new Mr. Potato Head, anything he can push around the house and lots more, but i'll leave it at that.
Some of his favorite things to eat are... banana's, apple's, cheese, lunch meat, toast, ramen noodles, hot dogs and there's more but thats all I can think of right now.
He is starting to say more words and I love it. Its kind of hard to understand him, but i'm getting it. Sometimes he speaks another language and you can't understand anything.
Overall he is one funny child. He cracks me up all day long. If we are somewhere other than home everyone is usually laughing at him at some point or other for something funny/crazy he did.
I hope that tells you a little about my handsome little Haizer man. We love him so much.....even if he is in terrible 2's

Happy Halloween 2010

Wow I know its been way too long since I posted last and I'm going to try to keep this up a little better. Here is some Halloween pictures of Haize. He was a monkey this year, mostly because he love's bananas and when my sister seen this costume with the banana in the pocket she said he has to be that.....so....thats what he was. He did make a pretty cute monkey.
We went to Jared's parents house this year for Halloween and it was nice and great weather for us. Haize did good at trick or treating until he found the wiggly car and then he just wanted to do that. He did not want to get off and load up in the car to go some more, but I'm a mean mom and made him get off and get in the car. He forgot about it within in a minute. He wasn't totally into it this year, but I'm sure next year will be a blast.
On our way home I fed him the yellow taffy and then he started yelling and I look back and he had this mad/confused look on his face and his hand was on his head so I look and there was the taffy so I reach back to get it out and it was matted in his hair. Thank goodness a warm bath when we got home got it out. I was scared I was going to have to give him a buzz. Thank goodness that wasn't the case.
I hope every one had a great Halloween this year.

Us Lately....

Holy cow! It's been forever since I updated this. Let's see I'll try to update you on what we have been up to lately.
We have been trying to get a few rooms done in our basement which is taking way too long, but I guess it will totally be worth it. I can't wait until its done. Haize love's to help and he gets VERY MAD if we don't let him go downstairs to work with Dad. He is so smart and is quite the little copy cat. He see's things we do that we didn't know and then he does them and it cracks us up. These pictures are from Saturday when Jared and our friend Justin were mud and taping the basement and I was upstairs doing my hair and that is what I came down to find. I had to grab the camera and I couldn't get mad I just laughed and took pictures and then cleaned him up. It doesn't matter what your doing he tries to do it. He was even copying the dances tonight on So You Think You Can Dance. It was sooo cute.
I have taught Haize a new word this week... Pepsi ... sometimes it comes out puppies, but I know what he's saying. Thats my boy! :)
I started a new job about a month and 1/2 ago but after a month quit. It was for a Chiropractor here in Santaquin he is really nice, but it was way too hard leaving Haize and I didn't want to be an advertiser which is basically what I was doing so I quit, but I got a call yesterday from the Payson office which is Dr. King and I guess I will be their on call person so that will be good. Just a few days here and there won't be so bad.
On June 11-12 I did the Relay for Life in Payson at the park with my sister in law Brynn and I had some friends join us. It was a blast having them come and I think they all enjoyed it as well. It rained non stop, but it was worth it like always. Hopefully next year it won't rain us out. Thanks friends- Jacey, Camille, and Jayme. You guys are awesome!
For my Birthday my Dad took me and my sister Jennifer to Wendover to see the comedian Lisa Lampanelli and oh my gosh it was freakin hillarious! Its a show that you don't want to go see if you get offended easily about ANYTHING! She makes fun of everything and everyone. She's not a bit shy about anything at all. We laughed out guts out. There were a few people who left within the first 5 minutes. Then we all went and gambled for a bit at the casino. We had a great time. It was fun spending time with my Dad and Sister. Thanks guys for the great birthday weekend.
Haize will be 20 months on July 7th. I can't even believe it. He has one speed all the time and that is FAST. He is constantly falling down and running into things which results in lots of goose bumps and bruises. Poor kid. Im sure people look at his legs and think what do his parents do to him? I promise we are good to him. We love him so much and he makes everyday a Great Day! I don't know what we would do without him. He is so funny and is always making us laugh about something he does. He still loves to talk on the phone and speak jibberish to whoever and sometimes nobody he just picks up a phone and starts chatting. Its so cute. He still growls, but not near as bad as he used to. It used to be non stop. He loves to play outside and he is always telling the dogs to SHUT UP! Its pretty funny. Jared's parents came and visited over the weekend and now he is really good at saying Grandpa (papa). So now he can say gama and papa. I love it. He has been calling Jared mum for a little while now and we all just laugh, but I think he's doing better we correct him alot and he seems to be getting it now who Dad is and who Mom is. Silly boy! He still is attatched to his bottle (boba) and I don't know when to call it time to take it away cause he loves it so much. He also uses a sippy he just likes his boba when he's tired or hurt. That should catch you up a litte on Haize.
Sorry that was a long post, but It's been a long while since I put anything on here. Next time hopefully I wont wait this long.

Happy Easter 2010

This year we spent Easter down South in Hurricane with Jared's parents. It was good to get away for a few days. Haize had fun at the Laverkin Easter Egg Hunt. He wasn't sure what to, but I helped him scoop up some candy and eggs and then came dad to follow us and help out as well. Grandpa and Grandma Hone also had one at their house. That one was all money. WOW! He got $11.00. Pretty cool for a 1 year old. Before we left home we also made some sugar cookies..... yeah they looked cute, but they didn't taste real great. I couldn't find my recipe I usually use so I used one I found and they were not good. I was pretty mad, but they went down with some milk. Here are some pictures of our weekend. Happy Valentine's Day!!

I haven't made sugar cookies forever so I got bored and decided to make some today. It was actually quite fun. Jared even helped me and he did a really good job. We took a few to neighbors, but thats as far as we got. Sorry everyone who didn't get any. Next time I will make more and deliver them. Here is a picture of some of the cookies. Its been a while....

Its been a while since I updated so just thought I would talk about what we have been up to lately.....which isn't much, but Haize is walking all over the place now. He has been walking for probably a month or so. It is so cute, but sad too when they start walking because it's like now he is a little boy not so much a baby anymore. With walking come lots of bangs and bruises we have found out. Just in the past week he has bonked his head on my friends coffee table and hit his ear and it is all bruised. It looks bad, but it doesn't seem to bother him. He also got scratched by a little puppy that was so happy to see him but it jumped up and scratched his eye lid and neck. Poor kid. Today he decided to head butt everything and came to me while I was sitting in the chair and he banged off my knee and fell to the ground and blood started flowing out of his mouth so I got to the bathroom and I think he cut that little peice of skin that hooks your lip to your gums. He cried for a minute but his bottle made it all better. Yes he still has his bottle and he loves it. I dont know when I will ever be able to take it away from him. He also likes his sippy though. :) He is the goofiest kid ever. He makes me and Jared laugh constantly. Tonight he was walking around with his blanket on his head, but we knew he would get hurt so we took it off, but then the crazy little guy decided he could just close his eyes and walk. Cracks me up. He is so fun and I dont know what we would do without him. We wouuld be so bored. He loves bananas and gets so excited if he knows your gettin him some. He is a good little eater and will eat pretty much anything. For lunch most the time he eats a sandwich. I just cut it up in little peices and he eats it right up. He loves bread just like his Dad and Grandpa Stink. He hates to get dressed or have his bum changed, but I think most kids are like that. I wonder why. You would think they would want a fresh bum. Lol! He is with me everyday and all day so when his Daddy comes home from work he gets so excited. They love to tease each other and Haize loves to be chased. Its so cute. He blows kisses, but I haven't got him to actually give kisses. He used to but not anymore. He absolutely loves music. He dances everytime he hears it or hums to music. Its the cutest thing ever. He also loves loves loves the phone. If he hears one he puts his hand to his ear like he is talking on the phone. I always let him call his Grandparents. He loves it and when he's on the phone he usually uses his growly voice and it sounds terrible over the phone and its so funny. Jared always lets people at work listen to him and they dont believe its Haize cause it sounds terrible. I tend my neice and nephew a few times a week and he loves to see other kids and they think he is so funny. They love to ask him yes or no questions to see what he will answer with his head shakes. Its pretty funny. Well I guess that will do for now.... haha. Hope you enjoyed reading about my funny little man.

Christmas 2009

We had a great Christmas this year and I hope the rest of you did as well.
On Christmas Eve my mom always gave us something to do with bedtime, usually a pair of pajamas, but sometimes we also got a blanket or a pillow.... anyways so I like to do the same. Haize loves minky blankets so that is what he got was one of those and I had a friend put his name on it for him. He also got a pair of jammies to wear to bed, but he peed a little much that night so he had to get changed in the middle of the night and from then on he did'nt want to go to sleep. Its like he knew Santa was coming and was too excited. He ended up sleeping in our bed, which was a bad idea because then none of us got any sleep. He tossed and turned and hogged the bed all night. Then at 6am he was ready to get up and play, but Mom and Dad weren't ready so we just made him lay there until he went back to sleep. Then I woke up at 9am and made Dad and Haize get up to go see what Santa brought. We opened our presents and then went to my parents house for breakfast and opened some more presents. I love being with family on Christmas. I dont know what I'd do if they weren't around. Jareds parents were sad that we wouldn't come down to there place, but we still called them and chatted for a bit. Maybe sometime we can go there for Christmas. After my parents house we went home and chilled for a bit and then had a little nap. That evening we were invited to Jareds Aund Judy's house for dinner so we went there and had a great meal and then visited for a bit. All in all we had a pretty great time for Christmas. Happy 1st Birthday Haize 11-7-09

I cannot believe it. My baby is 1. How did this happen? I remember the day I had him like it was yesterday. I could tell you every detail if you'd like but I won't. Even though I will cherish that day of my life forever!!!
He is the best thing that has ever happened to me and Jared. He is such a cutie and he always makes us smile. He can be a turd sometimes but we still love him. I didn't know that 1 yr olds had attitude like he has but they do! I think its pretty cute now, but I know in a few years it won't be so cute. LOL.
Some of his favorite things lately are he loves to stand up to things, sharing his food, wrestling with his dad, rocking at night with mom like always, growling of course... he has done that since the day he was born, crawling... yes he is finally crawling haha, being outside no matter how cold or hot it is, and the list could go on, but I think ive mentioned most of his favorite things.
I made a big mistake on his birthday. His party wasn't until 7pm so I was going to make sure he got 2 naps so he wouldn't be cranky. He took one nap pretty early in the day so I was happy about that, but then it got to be about 5pm and I wanted him to take one more so I made him take another one. By make I mean he didn't want to even though he was tired so I took him in my room and turned on Enya and I held him and swayed back and forth until he was out. And he was literally out. I had to wake him up at 6:15 so he would have enough time to wake up and get back to being happy and cheerful, but he so did not want to wake up. He was mad and cranky. I thought Oh great look what ive done. He was a little cranky when everyone got here but as the night went on he got Happier. Anyways.... :)
For his birthday we had all the family come to our house, and we learned that our house is too small for that many guests. It was pretty squishy, but we still had lots of fun. First we started off by letting him open his presents and he got bored after about 2 of them, but then he had help from his cousins and that made it a little more fun for him. He got wayyyyy to many presents thats for sure. I can't believe all the toys he got and now I have no where to put them, but he sure enjoys them. My front room just looks like a toy room is all. Everyone is asking what he is getting for Christmas and the answer is........... a TOY BOX!!! Something to put all these toys in. After opening all his presents we had cake. It was awesome. I ordered Haize a cake from Smiths because my sister in law let me in on a little secret.... they do a FREE cake for 1 year olds. Awesome! So Haize had his own cake and then I made strawberry shortcake for the rest of the party. It was so much fun watching Haize dig into his cake. He had alot of fun flipping it everywhere. He also likes to share his food so I let him feed me a little and yes I got a little frosting on my face. So cute though. Of course he then had to get in the rub and rinse off. After his quick rinse off him and his cousin Jericho played with all the new toys. The cutest was when Jericho pushed Haize on the train. We had a great turn out and Thanks to everyone for coming!

Happy Halloween

Hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. This year was fun for me because I got to dress Haize up. I ordered his costume like over a month in advance because I was so excited. We started trick or treatin a bit early so that Haize wouldn't get onery. First we went to Jareds aunt Judy's house and visited for a bit then we headed on over to my parents. I had my mom come with me to take Haize over to my Aunt Karen and Uncle Steve's cause I had told them a while ago that I would make sure I came by. And of course Haize was tired and wouldn't growl or talk to them, but he was still cute in his little dragon costume. I did however manage to get some pretty cute pictures of him in his costume in some leaves at my parents house. We didn't go many places because all of my brothers and sisters kids come to my mom and dads so we just trick or treat each other there. All in all it was pretty fun.

Oct. 11, 2009 Happy 6th Anniversary to us

Jared and I have been married for 6 years now. I can't believe it has been that long. In some ways it feels like we have married forever, but in other ways it feels like it was yesterday we tied the knot. I love Jared so much and really appreciate all he does for me and now of course Haize. He is the best dad ever. This year for our anniversary we snuck away and went to Park City and left Haize with my sister. Thanks Jennifer and family. It was so nice to get away for a night even though leaving Haize for the first time overnight was a little sad for me, but he did pretty good and I didn't worry too much. He was in good hands. Jared and I had never been to the alpine slides so that is what we did and we also did the newer alpine coaster. It was a blast and definately worth the money to do both. We had a lot of fun and I laughed the whole time on the coaster because I was in front of the sled and Jared had the brake and kept breaking. I was getting mad at him because I like to go fast but he had to pee and I was hurting him by sittin in front of him cause his legs couldnt fit in the sled right with me in front of him. Poor guy. That evening I let Jared decide where to go eat and of course that was a dumb idea. He chose Sushi. I ordered chicken of course and it was actually pretty good, but way to expensive for what it was. Jared was disappointed as well. The rolls were about as big around as his thumb. Big rip off. I cant remember the name of the place but it was something like Yuki Sariaki or something like that. Dont go there. Anyways here are a few pictures of our little weekend. I didnt get many but hope you enjoy.

11 Months

I cannot even believe that my baby boy is already 11 months old and that in a month the little guy will be 1 year old. Where did time go? It feels like just yesterday I had him. I can remember every second of the day I gave birth to him.
Its kind of sad that he is already that old but at the same time, he is so fun. I love every minute being with him. He is what makes me smile and keeps me going everyday and if im having a bad day all I have to do is look at him and im better.
He has learned to army crawl. Its the cutest thing ever. It makes me laugh cause from behind it kind of looks like he is swimming. So cute. Oh and believe me he is plenty fast and can go anywhere he wants to go.
He has been a little stinker too. He likes to play with things he shouldn't and when you tell him no he looks at you with a smurky smile and turns his head really fast and keeps doing it as if its funny. Not so funny to me though. Not sure how to break him of this but hopefully soon he will learn to listen.
He loves to eat treats especially suckers they are his favorite. He gets so happy when he see's one.
He now has 8 teeth and they are so cute, but they make him look like not such a baby anymore. He has the cutest smile ever.
He still growls. Its pretty funny to get reactions from people that arent expecting it. He has growled from day one.
Pretty much we love him so much and we are so happy we have him. Not sure what I would do with out him. Not sure what Jared would do either. Haize looks forward to seeing his daddy come home from work and if someone comes through the door he thinks its his dad and if its not sometimes he gets a little dissapointed. I love seeing the two of them play. Jared is a great dad!
Well another month has past too quickly, but like always Haize makes it fun.

10 months. 09-07-2009

It is just absolutely crazy to me that my baby boy is 10 Months old already. Freaks me out! He is still the cutest little baby ever. We love him to death. I really dont know where I would be today if it weren't for him. He is such a sweet blessing in our lives. He is getting a mouth full of teeth. He now has 7 of them. I love when he does his cheeser smile so we can see them. He doesn't crawl yet or walk, but he seems to get around just fine by rolling which ever way he wants to go. He gets into plenty of trouble rolling so I can wait until he crawls and walks. He has the cutest chubby legs ever and yep he is bull legged just like his daddy. So cute. Last month we took him to a specialist because his doctor thought he may need a helmet for a flat spot but the specialist said he is just fine. Phew! We were so not wanting him to wear one so we are quite happy about that. Im also sure that Haize is to. He loves to be outside. If he gets onery we just take him outside and he is fine. He has been this way since he was born. That is a good thing because his daddy is the same way.... well that is unless its hot. I cant believe that in 2 months he is going to be 1. Honestly where does time go? Before we had him it seemed like years took a long time, but now we have him its like we blink and another month has gone by. Babies really do grow waaaayyyy too fast.

Happy Birthday Jared! 09-05-2009

For Jareds Birthday he wanted to eat Sushi so we went and ate at Sakura Japanese Steakhouse. Its really good. And no its not all sushi. Its like Tepenyaki's. I want to thank everyone who came. It was a real good time.
