In his 7th month

I better write some stuff down about all that Haize has done in his 7th month since he is almost 8 months old now. This month he is getting better at rolling over. He still hasn't come close to mastering it, but is getting better. He has however learned how to sit up on his own. He does fall over now and again, but Im so proud of him. His biggest thing is he got 2 teeth. They are so cute. I will have to capture a picture of them. It is his 2 bottom ones. He went camping for his first time this month. It was so fun and he did pretty good. I think he will get better at going to bed the more we go, but he did pretty darn good. He also went for a short ride out in front of our house on the 4wheeler. He seemed to like that quite a bit. He loves to be outside. It is his favorite place to be. If he gets mad you can take him outside and he calms right down and is totally happy again. Amazing how things like that work. These are a few cute pictures of him lately.

1st Hair cut's

I have had to give little Haize 2 haircuts already. I can't believe it. His hair gets long on top. I havent had to cut the sides or back yet but the top has had to be trimmed. Here are the pictures of Haircut 1 and 2. Green outfit was the first haircut

First Camping Trip

We took Haize camping for the first time last weekend. We went out to Little Moab and camped for 2 nights. Haize did pretty good I think. The first night was a little rough and Jared had told me that it was his turn to tend so he was putting Haize to sleep in the trailer while I hung out by the fire with everyone. Next thing I know I see Jared come out with the baby, slam the trailer door, slam his tailgate shut and put the baby in the carseat and away they drove. I could tell Jared was very frustrated. (He has little to no patience.) I wanted to go rescue him but everyone was covering my eyes and saying "remember it's your night to play so let him take care of Haize" so I did. When he returned he jumped out of the truck and came over and said Im going to take the baby home he won't go to sleep and we'll be back in the morning. I said oh no your not so I took the baby and we went in the trailer. I made him a little bottle and he drank it and got comfy and went to sleep. A mothers touch is all he needed. Jared was pissed, but oh well. Anyways it was all good after that. He slept good through the night and had a good day playing all day. He took a nap while we drove over to the rocks. Played somemore then it was time for bed again and of course I took over again and all went great. So camping is good afterall. I didnt get many pictures. Dang it! It was fun and were headed out again this weekend and the next few after that. Hope he gets used to going every weekend cause thats what were going to be doing.

Blankie

Haize got a minky blanket for his blessing day that is white and blue and it instantly became his favorite blankie. I wanted to make him another one, but haven't because the fabric is so spendy and I wasn't sure I could do it. Well Monday I got a new ad from Joannes and whahoo there was a sale on minky fabric. Yay!!! I went there and got some fabric. I got it all pinned and ready to go last night and got brave today and sewed it all up. I think I did pretty good for saying I don't know how to sew really. And I totally guessed on how to do the corners, but I think I did pretty darn good. Best of all Haize loves it!

Ouch!!!

So last Tuesday night I went to Walmart after I got Haize to sleep because we needed some baby food and a few other items. I always have to look at the little baby toys to see if there is something that Haize just might want. I found a winnie the pooh crinkly book and I knew he would just love it. So after getting my few much needed items I went home. I was just going to go to bed and put stuff away in the morning but decided I would just do it now. I put all the groceries away and then decided to put the toy away as well. So I saw I needed something to cut the zip ties that it was attatched to the cardboard with. Scissors would do the trick! I held the toy and cardboard with my left hand while holding the scissors with my right. I got one cut and the other was a little diffacult. It was a small loop I had to fit the scissors under........slip........Blood everywhere squirting....I ran to the sink grabbed a dish towel sitting there......ran in my room and said Jared I cut myself really bad and I'm going to have to go to the hospital. He jumps out of bed half asleep and really irratated that I wasn't in bed. He headed in to wake up Haize and I said no i'll just call my mom and she can take me.....(shaking really really bad)...so I called her and decided that I could just drive over and pick her up. Jared was like um I think your in shock and you shouldn't drive. Im like oh i'll be just fine. So I drove to Payson picked up my mom and decided to stop at Mtn View and have my sister in law check it out first before I made the drive to Provo. Got there and "Yep your going to need some stitches." I pretty much knew, but I just didnt want to look at my own bleeding thumb. So we headed to Provo, got to the hospital and got some stitches. My thumb was pretty numb and tingly so it didnt even hurt getting it numbed for the stitches. The Doctor decided it was really deep and I may have severed the nerve so I had to go yesterday and see a Hand Surgeon, but thank goodness he thinks it will be just fine. I have to keep the stitches in for 1 more week and then if in 2 wks it is still bothering me I'm supposed to go back and see him, but hopefully that won't be the case. This is a picture from tonight so its looking much better than it did at first. And the toy that caused all the problem.
